Description

You will manage, upgrade, and support DB2 and PostgreSQL manufacturing database systems, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain production databases to ensure high availability and data integrity.
• Perform performance tuning and monitoring for DB2 LUW and PostgreSQL across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments.
• Develop and implement database policies to ensure data integrity.
• Execute logical database design for relational databases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DB2 and related DBA roles.
• DB2 LUW administration across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments.
• PostgreSQL administration and performance tuning.
• DB2 LUW performance tuning and monitoring.
• Logical database design for relational databases.
• Operating system experience with AIX and Intel.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• DB2 LUW administration on AIX.
• Project management awareness.
