Description

You will own backend database development, data integration, and interface design. You will design reusable interfaces, optimize stored procedures, and model relational databases to support data warehouse structures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable interfaces and data integration workflows.
• Write, optimize, and tune stored procedures to ensure database performance.
• Model relational databases and implement core database concepts.
• Build and maintain data warehouse structures.
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Sybase and DB2.
• Extensive experience with ETL technologies and data integration.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
• Strong experience with Unix and Perl scripting.
• Expert knowledge of relational database design and modeling.
• Deep understanding of data warehouse architecture and core database concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Scala.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience developing APIs.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools, SAP Ariba, or Accounts Payable systems.
