Description

You will manage database development, maintenance, and performance tuning within a GCP environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Postgres pg/plsql objects including procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Manage AlloyDB instances, replication setups, and backup strategies.
• Execute data migrations and implement performance tuning.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database systems to ensure stability.
• Write shell scripts to automate database tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database development.
• Hands-on Postgres pg/plsql development.
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Knowledge of AlloyDB and replication setups.
• Proven experience with data migration workflows.
• Strong understanding of database architecture.
• Proficiency in shell scripting.
• Experience in database performance tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to perform database monitoring and troubleshooting.
