Description

You will design and implement encryption strategies across multiple database platforms to protect sensitive data.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design encryption solutions for Oracle, SQL Server, and NoSQL platforms, including key rotation and lifecycle management.
• Implement field-level encryption, transparent data encryption (TDE), and application-level encryption.
• Manage encryption keys using dedicated key management systems (KMS) and establish access controls and audit trails.
• Integrate encryption into existing data pipelines and applications to maintain seamless data flow.
• Monitor encryption systems for vulnerabilities and perform security audits to ensure GDPR and CCPA compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database security or encryption engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle database environments.
• Proficiency with SQL Server encryption implementations.
• Experience managing security within NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of GDPR regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of CCPA compliance standards.
• Experience with key management systems (KMS) and key lifecycle management.
• Ability to implement TDE and field-level encryption.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working alongside DBAs and application developers to troubleshoot encryption issues.
