Description

You will engineer and maintain the core database platform infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database automation solutions using Terraform and Liquibase.
• Manage and optimize databases on Microsoft Azure, overseeing deployments and schema migrations.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines with development teams for database changes and maintain backup/recovery processes.
• Monitor database performance, implement tuning strategies, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Ensure database security best practices and maintain platform documentation.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in database or platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Proficiency with Terraform and Liquibase for infrastructure and schema management.
• Experience managing databases in Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
• Experience in database performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization.
• Familiarity with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Maintaining documentation and platform standards.
• Staying updated with cloud database technologies.
