Description

You will manage and support Db2 LUW environments on Linux and Windows platforms, ensuring system stability and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and support Db2 software including Advanced Enterprise Edition, Client Code, and Community Edition.
• Diagnose and resolve Db2 environment problems, incidents, and technical issues.
• Implement SSL/TLS encryption, including keystores, certificates, and secure connections.
• Develop and modify Db2 policies, standards, procedures, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Db2 LUW tools, processes, and environments.
• Experience with Db2 on Linux and/or Windows.
• Proficiency with Db2 Federation.
• Experience with Korn shell scripting and Puppet coding.
• Knowledge of ODBC and JDBC drivers.
• Experience with VBScript, JavaScript, Perl, and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Java and Docker/Containers.
• Experience with HTML development.
• Understanding of Agile techniques and DevOps methods.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with solution modernization and architectural engagement.
