Description

You will manage, maintain, and secure DB2 database environments to ensure data integrity and availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and configure DB2 databases from the ground up.
• Execute DB2 upgrades to versions 11.1 and 11.5.
• Perform routine patching and fix pack applications.
• Manage database access, user permissions, and security protocols.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Deep understanding of DB2 architecture, process models, and memory models.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 patching and fix packs.
• Proven experience with DB2 upgrades to versions 11.1 and 11.5.
• Proficiency with db2audit and dart utilities.
• Strong knowledge of DBMS and query performance tuning.
• Degree in any graduate field.
