Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead DB2 database migration and modernization from mainframe z/OS environments to DB2 LUW on AWS.
• Drive DDL conversion and enhancement activities for target database structures.
• Plan and execute data migration, security alignment, and database cutover readiness.
• Define high availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency approaches for cloud-hosted databases.
• Partner with internal teams and implementation vendors to deliver modernization milestones and technical decisions.

Skills Required:

• 9.5 to 15 years of relevant database administration and architecture experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM DB2 on z/OS and DB2 LUW.
• Proven background in mainframe database architecture and migration planning.
• Experience supporting large-scale database modernization on AWS.
• Ability to manage database design, DDL conversion, and migration execution for enterprise environments.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to Windows, Linux, or UNIX environments.
• Experience with data migration tooling and cross-platform database transitions.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
