Description

You will administer and maintain DB2 database environments to ensure stability and availability across enterprise systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer DB2 databases on AIX, Unix, and Linux platforms to maintain operational stability.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate routine database tasks and infrastructure management.
• Manage database operations and support infrastructure within enterprise environments.
• Ensure high availability and performance of DB2 instances across multiple operating systems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of DB2 database administration experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AIX, Unix, or Linux platforms.
• 3+ years of experience in shell programming and scripting for automation.
• Proficiency with standard DB2 management tools and utilities.
• Proven experience managing database environments on Unix-based systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience with DB2 Z/OS.
