Description

Manage and automate DB2 database environments, security configurations, and maintenance tasks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate database maintenance tasks using Ansible, Shell, and Python.
• Configure databases and clients to implement TLS or password-in-transit encryption.
• Execute upgrades for DB2 database instances.
• Manage database operations within Linux and VM platforms.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in database administration.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 database upgrades.
• Proficiency in Ansible for automation.
• Strong scripting skills in Shell and Python.
• Experience configuring Data in Transit TLS encryption.
• Practical knowledge of Linux and VM platforms.
• Ability to implement Password in Transit Encryption.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
