Description

You will manage and maintain z/OS DB2 environments, ensuring system stability, performance, and security.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install and migrate DB2 and associated IBM or third-party products.
• Manage data sharing environments and disaster recovery protocols, including restoring DB2 and related products.
• Apply maintenance to DB2 and its related product suite.
• Configure DB2 Connect and establish connections to security products like RACF or ACF2.
• Tune DB2 systems and produce performance reports regarding subsystem health.

Required Skills

• Expertise in z/OS DB2 administration.
• Experience with SMPE.
• Proven ability to manage data sharing and disaster recovery (DR) operations.
• Knowledge of TLS/SSL Secure Client/server configurations.
• Experience configuring DB2 Connect.
• Experience integrating with security products such as RACF or ACF2.
• Ability to perform DB2 system tuning and performance reporting.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in technical disciplines, or equivalent experience.
