Description

You will own the design, development, and administration of enterprise DB2 and SQL Server databases, ensuring performance tuning and data integrity.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop logical and physical data models for enterprise environments.
• Create DDL scripts for tables, views, indexes, triggers, and stored procedures.
• Execute complex DML SQL queries and perform performance tuning for DB2 and SQL Server databases.
• Develop data conversion strategy plans, mapping documents, and gap analysis.
• Administer DB2 databases and optimize database design, migration, and operations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in DB2 Database Administration.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and SQL PL.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SSIS, and SSRS.
• Experience with data modeling tools such as ER Studio Data Architect.
• Proficiency in QMF for Workstation, Redgate SQL Compare, and TSO.
• Experience performing performance tuning for complex SQL queries.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and data migration skills.
