Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive database administration and support in a 24x7 operational environment.

Develop, maintain, and optimize database objects including Stored Procedures, Packages, Functions, Views, and Cursors.

Write and fine-tune highly optimized SQL queries to ensure maximum database performance.

Utilize SQL*Loaders, handle indexing, exceptions, and debugging tasks effectively.

Collaborate on migration activities and ETL workflows where applicable.

Work within Agile methodologies to deliver robust database solutions.

Requirements

4 to 8 years of dedicated experience in Database Administration and Development.

Strong knowledge of DB Architecture, Joins, Indexing, and overall performance management.

Mandatory DB2/Database certification for onsite deployment.

Hands-on familiarity with Unix scripting and scheduling tools like Autosys or Control-M is highly desirable.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and presentation skills.

Ability to work strictly onsite and participate in a 24x7 support rotation
