Description

You will provide comprehensive database administration and support in a 24x7 operational environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize database objects including Stored Procedures, Packages, Functions, Views, and Cursors.
• Write and fine-tune highly optimized SQL queries to ensure maximum database performance.
• Utilize SQL*Loader, handle indexing, exceptions, and debugging tasks effectively.
• Collaborate on migration activities and ETL workflows.
• Work within Agile methodologies to deliver database solutions.

Required Skills

• 4 to 8 years of dedicated experience in Database Administration and Development.
• Strong knowledge of DB2 architecture, Joins, Indexing, and performance management.
• Mandatory DB2/Database certification for onsite deployment.
• Hands-on familiarity with Unix scripting and scheduling tools like Autosys or Control-M.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to participate in a 24x7 support rotation.
