Description

You will manage and optimize DB2, MS SQL, and Oracle database environments, owning the architecture, configuration, and performance tuning for MS SQL Server while administering Oracle database installation and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize DB2, MS SQL, and Oracle database environments.
• Administer MS SQL Server architecture, configuration, and performance tuning.
• Implement high availability solutions for both SQL Server and Oracle.
• Execute database security, backup, and recovery protocols.
• Automate routine tasks using SQL and PL/SQL scripting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Level 3 MS SQL Database Administrator.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle databases and architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL scripting.
• Experience with database high availability solutions for SQL Server and Oracle.
• Understanding of database security, backup, and recovery best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with database clustering and load balancing technologies.
