Description

You will manage and maintain DB2 LUW databases on Linux platforms, owning the full database lifecycle from installation to disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Administer DB2 LUW databases running on Linux environments.
• Install, upgrade, and patch DB2 database infrastructure.
• Manage backup and recovery operations and perform performance tuning for high-scale databases.
• Set up DR databases and execute regular disaster recovery tests.
• Collaborate with development teams on object deployment and data replication.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a DB2 DBA.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 LUW on Linux.
• Expertise in backup and recovery procedures.
• Experience setting up and testing Disaster Recovery (DR) environments.
• Proficiency with shell scripting or Ansible for automation.
• Experience with data replication tools such as Attunity or DTShare.
• Ability to use federation for data replication.
