Description

You will own DB2 security externalization to RACF and the implementation of zSecure in a mainframe environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure and implement zSecure modules, including Alert, Command Verifier, Admin, and zSecure Network (cknserve).
• Define zSecure policies and alerts based on specific operational requirements.
• Manage DB2 Security Externalization to RACF through data analysis, reporting, hygiene, and the definition of new RACF resources.
• Provide RACF architecture and engineering expertise for solution design, analysis, and implementation planning.
• Document new RACF and DB2 configurations and train the Mainframe Security team on updated procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration or mainframe security.
• Deep expertise with RACF, including architecture design and engineering solutions.
• Hands-on experience with zSecure modules and zSecure Network (cknserve).
• Proficiency with DB2 environments.
• Experience in technical documentation and training.
• Ability to analyze data and define new resources for security hygiene.
