Description

You will manage database planning and operational activities across multiple platforms including DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, and GIS.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily operational and database administration activities.
• Plan, design, implement, and support database structures.
• Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning.
• Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation.
• Perform SQL code reviews and mentor technical staff.

Required Skills

• 15 years of combined experience in database administration for DB2 for z/OS, SQL Server (2008R2, 2012), and Oracle (10g and above).
• Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS application integration, performance management, and catalog maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS upgrading and sub-system point in time recovery.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS integrated platform, JCL, ISPF, and COBOL.
• In-depth knowledge of CA GEN model management, ASG Scheduler, and database/software monitoring tools.
• In-depth knowledge of technical infrastructure implementation planning and coordination.
• Solid working knowledge of z/OS started task creation, RACF, CICS, IOF, and AFOPER commands.
• Solid working knowledge of Oracle and MSSQL application integration and performance management.
• Solid working knowledge of Disaster Recovery requirements and infrastructure change management testing.
• Working knowledge of Windows Servers, SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, Azure, z/OS EXITs, and BJS.
