Description

Manage and maintain the DB2 for z/OS environment, including application administration, upgrades, and recovery procedures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage DB2 for z/OS applications and databases.
• Execute database upgrades and catalog maintenance.
• Perform point-in-time recovery procedures.
• Coordinate technical infrastructure implementation planning and execution.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database administration.
• In-depth knowledge of DB2 for z/OS.
• In-depth knowledge of the z/OS integrated platform.
• Solid working knowledge of z/OS started task creation and management.
• Solid working knowledge of RACF and CICS.
• Knowledge of COBOL and JCL.
• Familiarity with SQL Server and Oracle 10g.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure, SSMS, SSRS, and SSIS.
• Understanding of DB2 for z/OS monitoring tools.
