Description

You will own the development, optimization, and troubleshooting of IBM DB2 databases for high-volume enterprise applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize stored procedures in a 1000+ procedure environment.
• Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.
• Implement indexing strategies to support high-volume data integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production database issues.
• Integrate data from multiple upstream databases and systems.

Required Skills

• Expert level IBM DB2 UDB experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and stored procedure development.
• Proven track record in database performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with indexing strategies for large-scale datasets.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production database issues.
• 5+ years of experience with high-volume enterprise applications.

Preferred Skills

• Java programming experience.
• Understanding of application-side database integration and enterprise data flow.
