Description

You will design and maintain complex database systems and software applications using DB2 and Oracle.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop database architectures, data structures, tables, and dictionaries for information systems projects.
  • Write and optimize DB2 and Oracle code, including PL/SQL and stored procedures.
  • Perform database performance tuning and optimization to ensure system efficiency.
  • Create and maintain database systems using SQL and cloud-based technologies.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in database development.
  • Proficiency in writing DB2 and Oracle code.
  • Strong expertise in PL/SQL and stored procedures.
  • Experience with SQL and performance tuning.
  • Competency in Unix Shell, Bach, and Batch scripting.
  • Experience with Powershell.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Understanding of big data technologies and data warehousing.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with banking projects.
