Description

You will design, develop, and support enterprise applications on IBM Mainframe environments, ensuring high-volume transactional systems remain reliable and scalable.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DB2 database objects, including stored procedures and SQL optimization.
• Write and debug COBOL programs integrated with CICS and JCL for batch and online processing.
• Perform query tuning and performance enhancement for mission-critical applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and conduct data analysis to resolve system bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement solutions following SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DB2 Mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, JCL, and VSAM.
• Strong SQL optimization and query tuning capabilities.
• Experience with IBM z/OS platforms.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Experience in financial services, government, or healthcare sectors.
• Background in application modernization initiatives.
