Description

You will provide L3 administration and support for DB2 on AS/400 systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage SQL table design, including indexes, views, and PK/FK constraints using DDLs.
• Develop and maintain stored procedures and manage SQL deployments.
• Handle journal management and the table reorganization process.
• Monitor system performance using IBM i Doctor, Job Watcher, and Performance Navigator.
• Automate and standardize daily DBA tasks through scripting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DB2 on AS/400 administration.
• Expert knowledge of SQL and DDLs.
• Proficiency with Stored Procedures.
• Hands-on experience with SQL deployment scripting.
• Ability to perform performance tuning and monitoring.
• Experience with AS/400 environments.

• Any Graduate degree.
