Description

You will manage, optimize, and maintain DB2 LUW environments to ensure high availability and performance for critical workloads.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage HADR, DPF, and federation replication setups to ensure data consistency and availability.
• Perform database installations, upgrades, and migrations across various environments.
• Conduct database performance tuning to optimize workload efficiency and resolve bottlenecks.
• Support L3 technical issues, diagnosing complex problems following ITIL processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with DB2 LUW administration.
• Deep proficiency in configuring and managing HADR and DPF.
• Experience with database installation, migration, and federation replication strategies.
• Strong shell scripting skills for automation and maintenance tasks.
• Solid understanding of DBMS fundamentals and database architecture.
• Experience working within ITIL processes for incident and change management.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Oracle DBA workflows and methodologies.
