Description

You will manage and maintain DB2 environments on z/OS, owning installation, maintenance, and performance tuning.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain DB2 infrastructure on z/OS.
• Monitor and tune DB2 performance to ensure optimal system health.
• Implement and manage high availability solutions for critical databases.
• Collaborate with DBA and development teams to resolve DB2-related issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in systems programming.
• Expertise in DB2 on z/OS installation and maintenance.
• Experience with DB2 Connect and performance monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in implementing DB2 high availability architectures.
• Strong knowledge of DB2 security practices and protocols.
• Familiarity with Software Developers and Systems Software concepts.
