Manage IDMS database operations, application-level tasks, and large-scale installs.

Execute record structure changes, index creation, and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Execute record structure changes and create indexes for IDMS databases.
• Plan and execute large-scale database, online, and batch installs.
• Monitor database performance and manage building, copying, backups, and restores.
• Manage IDMS internal security and perform IDMS programming.
• Debug ADS online code, including Dialogs, Maps, and Applications using ADSALIVE.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with IDMS Database.
• Strong experience with ADS online code (Dialogs, Maps, and Applications).
• Proficiency in ADSALIVE and other debugging tools.
• Experience with application-level DB tasks and record structure management.
• Proven ability to plan and execute large-scale database installs.
• Hands-on experience with database monitoring and backup/restore procedures.

Preferred Skills

• CA Endeavor administration or heavy user experience with problem resolution.
• Familiarity with ASG Replication Suite and ASG Virtual Database.
• Experience using CA-7 or CA-11 scheduling tools.
