Description

You will own the data migration from legacy systems to a microservice-based architecture on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy data structures, dependencies, and quality issues to plan migration strategies.
• Design and develop scalable data models and schemas aligned with microservice-based SOR architecture.
• Execute ETL processes to migrate data from legacy systems to Aurora PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle.
• Develop scripts, stored procedures, and automation tools for data migration and validation.
• Monitor database performance, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and compliance with security policies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or Data Engineer, specifically focused on data migration.
• Hands-on experience with Aurora PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle DB.
• Proficiency in ETL tools and scripting languages including Python, SQL, and Shell scripting.
• Strong expertise in data modeling tools and techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and cloud-native database services.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and associated data management challenges.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
