Description

Lead a database team managing DB2 LUW environments in high-volume, mission-critical settings.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a database administration team.
• Execute DB2 installations, backup, and recovery procedures.
• Manage failover and failback operations using HADR.
• Implement data replication using CDC.
• Maintain strict performance service levels in OLTP applications.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of related technical experience.
• 8+ years of DB2 LUW database administration.
• 5+ years of experience managing or leading a database team.
• Expertise in SQL coding and performance tuning.
• Experience with HADR and CDC replication.
• Database performance engineering for high-volume OLTP applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM InfoSphere Optim Archive product suite.
• Experience with Eligibility and Enrollment applications or healthcare data.
• SQL Server database administration experience.
