Description

You will provide L3 support and administration for DB2 on AS/400 environments. You own SQL deployments, table design, and reorganization processes. You monitor IBM I DB2/400 performance using IBM I Doctor, Job Watcher, and Performance Navigator. You tune SQL queries, manage journal management, and handle indexing. You automate daily DBA tasks through scripting. You provide technical support for complex database-related issues.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in DB2 on AS/400.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, including DDL for tables, indexes, views, and PK/FK creation.
• Proficiency in developing and managing Stored Procedures.
• Experience with SQL deployment and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with IBM I performance monitoring tools.
• Strong technical support capabilities.
