Description

You will manage Sybase ASE environments and optimize database performance for online payment systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate Sybase servers from ASE 12.5.4 to ASE 15.5 on Solaris LDOMs using virtualization.
• Execute logical data modeling and physical database design for payment systems.
• Analyze and improve performance using Sybase ASE 15.5 in-memory database technology.
• Monitor database health and performance using MDA tables.

Required Skills

• Sybase Database Administrator expertise.
• Experience with Sybase ASE 12.5.4 and 15.5.
• Hands-on experience with Solaris LDOMs and virtualization.
• Proficiency in logical data modeling and physical database design.
• Knowledge of in-memory database technology.
• Experience using MDA tables for database monitoring.
