Description

You will lead a team of DBAs managing SQL Server, Oracle EBS, and MySQL databases across on-premise, OCI, and Azure environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of DBAs to ensure reliable, secure, and optimized enterprise database environments.
• Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrading of SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL databases.
• Manage high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and performance tuning across all platforms.
• Control cloud resource utilization in OCI and Azure, including usage forecasting and cost optimization.
• Drive database automation and coordinate cloud migration strategies for hybrid deployments.

Required Skills

• 20+ years of experience in database administration and leadership.
• SQL Server expertise: T-SQL, Always On, clustering, and performance tuning.
• Oracle DBA experience: RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, and Oracle EBS R12.
• MySQL expertise: configuration, replication (master-slave, group replication), and query tuning.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) proficiency: Autonomous DB, DB Systems, and Exadata.
• Azure Cloud Services: Azure SQL, Azure Database for MySQL, and IaaS VMs.
• Automation skills using Shell, PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, ticketing systems, and release/change management.

Preferred Skills

• Proven ability to coordinate with vendors, Oracle Support, and business stakeholders.
