Description

You will manage, optimize, and administer complex multi-terabyte Oracle database environments with heavy transaction volumes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Oracle Database 19c, Oracle RAC, and Golden Gate to establish new database tiers.
• Perform advanced performance tuning on complex processes and large-scale databases.
• Execute standard administration tasks including backup, recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Manage capacity planning for ERP upgrade projects and assist project teams as required.
• Prioritize work and set deadlines to align with project schedules and maintenance windows.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise with Oracle Database 12c or higher.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC and Golden Gate.
• Advanced SQL and Shell scripting skills.
• Proven experience in advanced performance tuning for multi-terabyte databases.
• Experience working within a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government).
• Proficiency with Jira and the Scrum framework.
• Competency with Microsoft O365, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Visio.
• Ability to work outside standard business hours for system maintenance and project activities.
