Description

You will own the database infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, and integrity across all systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain database servers and applications.
• Execute capacity planning, database design, migrations, and performance tuning.
• Develop and implement processes for database security, backup, and data recovery.
• Automate repetitive database tasks and manage data replication.
• Troubleshoot database errors and provide on-call support as needed.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration or a related field.
• Extensive experience with MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Strong command of SQL and SQL Server tools.
• Advanced knowledge of database security, backup/recovery, and performance monitoring.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Ability to create database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Database Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
