Description

You will lead the transition of an on-premises SQL Server data warehouse to a vendor-hosted SaaS platform for the Enterprise Data Warehouse Modernization Project. You will own the technical artifacts required by vendors to architect and build the EDW and its integrations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with DBHDS and partner stakeholders to gather requirements and analyze business needs.
• Work with vendors to build integrations with source systems and implement a Master Patient Index.
• Collect and analyze data for internal use and for exchange between DBHDS and partners.
• Capture and document requirements during stakeholder meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience gathering, compiling, evaluating, and interpreting complex information.
• 8 years of experience presenting work results and recommendations in verbal and written forms.
• 8 years of experience communicating with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
• 8 years of expertise in MS Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• 5 years of experience collecting requirements and artifacts for data warehouse design and implementation.
• Experience working on complex projects requiring high coordination across multiple workstreams.
• Experience with data warehouse implementations.
• SQL proficiency.

Preferred Skills

• 4 years of experience analyzing SQL Server stored procedures to extract business rules and data quality checks.
• 4 years of experience with health information systems, health data, and clinical or billing codes.
