Description

You will own the migration and optimization of data pipelines using DBT, SQL, and Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer existing Oracle code and convert legacy logic into modern DBT models.
• Write complex SQL and PL/SQL queries to support high-volume data processing.
• Implement performance improvements, including clustering strategies and merge optimizations.
• Collaborate with established frameworks and standards while working independently.
• Maintain and enhance SSIS workflows where applicable.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or development roles.
• Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on, practical experience with DBT (not just theoretical knowledge).
• Proven ability to reverse engineer and migrate Oracle code.
• Familiarity with SSIS and high-volume data processing environments.
• Experience suggesting and implementing performance optimizations.
• Ability to work independently without hand-holding.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java.
• Knowledge of Airflow.
