Description

You will build, test, and maintain scalable data models using dbt within a Snowflake environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data models using dbt best practices and advanced features.
• Design and optimize Snowflake database schemas, tables, and views.
• Manage dbt project structures, documentation, and version control via Git and Bitbucket.
• Implement data quality checks, validation, and monitoring within dbt workflows.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of dbt models.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in dbt development or data engineering.
• Expertise in data transformation techniques and dbt project management.
• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and functionalities.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, schemas, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Proficiency with Git and Bitbucket for project management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated dbt deployment.
• Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation tasks.
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure, specifically AWS S3.
• Experience integrating diverse data sources using dbt.
