Description

Define end-to-end data architecture and lead the migration from SnapLogic to DBT on GCP BigQuery.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Establish DBT modeling standards, staging layers, and intermediate marts.
• Define scalable, cost-optimized solutions and migration roadmaps.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and lead stakeholder workshops.
• Manage offshore delivery teams and oversee BI review and design approval.
• Implement CI/CD, DevOps practices, and data governance standards.

Required Skills

• 12+ years in Data Engineering and Architecture.
• Strong expertise in DBT Core and BigQuery.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience leading large-scale migration programs.
• Onshore/offshore delivery and client stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in Python scripting.
• Familiarity with GitHub for version control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SnapLogic and Vega automation tools.
• Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
