Description

You will manage physical data center infrastructure and hardware maintenance in Ashburn, VA.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, and stack hardware components within the data center environment.
• Execute structured cabling projects including fiber optic and copper installations.
• Perform hardware repairs such as replacing motherboards, RAM, and internal disks.
• Troubleshoot network devices and coordinate with technical teams for hardware resolution.
• Maintain strict labeling standards and manage technical tickets through analysis and updates.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in data center hardware operations.
• In-depth knowledge of server hardware components and internal replacements.
• Proficiency in structured cabling and fiber optic cable management.
• Fundamental networking skills to troubleshoot connectivity and network devices.
• Experience with ticket lifecycle management and basic technical analysis.
• Ability to maintain clear communication and meet response time requirements.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts as required.
