Description

Lead architectural design and development for MuleSoft deployments within the Medicaid Enterprise System Transformation Program, focusing on the MES Integration Platform and API Gateway.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect integration flows using the Mule 4 Anypoint platform, including Mule Runtime, Connectors, Design Center, and API management.
• Design and develop MuleSoft applications and APIs in a private cloud environment, specifically MuleSoft Government Cloud.
• Integrate MuleSoft applications with AWS services and implement streaming strategies using Kafka or AWS services.
• Lead the full development lifecycle, including designing prototypes, testing, deployment, and continuous performance optimization.
• Secure data at rest and in transit using MuleSoft and AWS services while managing error handling and batch record processing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical solution development and enterprise-grade technical solutions.
• Deep expertise in Anypoint Studio, utilizing connectors, transformers, filters, and flow control.
• Proficiency with Mule 4, including fragments, templates, logging frameworks, and error handling.
• Strong knowledge of REST, HTTP, MQ, JSON, XML, and SOA.
• Hands-on experience developing enterprise services using RAML, REST-based APIs, and SOAP Web Services.
• Experience with Active MQ, Kafka, and JMS.
• Proficiency in AWS services and their integration with MuleSoft.
• Experience developing technical solutions for cloud and SaaS applications using JEE and/or JSE frameworks.
• Ability to manage Maven builds for maintainable and modular Mule applications.
