Description

You will develop and maintain logic within decision engine systems using JavaScript-based scripting and backend technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Script complex calculations provided by the risk team using JavaScript.
• Implement and manage logic within decisioning platforms such as Provenir, GDS, Zoot, or Pega.
• Investigate SQL Server (AWS) data to support backend functionality and API linking.
• Manage the full SDLC for decision engine updates and deployments.
• Navigate and use lookup tables and Excel-based reason codes within the engine.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript for heavy scripting and calculation logic.
• Hands-on experience with Provenir, GDS, Zoot, or Pega.
• Functional understanding of SQL Server (AWS) for navigating and linking tables.
• Experience working within the SDLC.
• Ability to work with Excel lookup tables and reason codes.
• Experience implementing caching functions.

Preferred Skills

• Coding experience in R.
• Background in finance.
• Experience with progression analysis.
