Lead a globally distributed application support team to drive production stability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage a global application support team while serving as the primary interface for CIOs and senior business stakeholders.
• Drive best practices across global application teams and manage release and change management (CTB) processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal instructions, including SOX, and external regulatory requirements to manage operational risk.
• Maintain and develop the incident management process and manage agile development processes from a production and run-the-bank perspective.
• Implement structured, proactive approaches to technology problem resolution and risk-based decision-making.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience supporting applications in Unix and Windows environments.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing large, globally distributed production support teams.
• Extensive background in Financial Services, specifically supporting Capital Markets, Banking, or Insurance applications.
• Proven experience managing stakeholder relationships at the CIO and senior executive level.
• Technical familiarity with Java, .NET, Oracle, Middleware, and multiple databases.
• Experience with Agile software development and managing development projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Access, and Project.
• Strong understanding of risk-based decision-making and escalation protocols.
