Description

You will design and develop multi-tier desktop applications while maintaining and enhancing existing system components.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop multi-tier desktop applications using Delphi.
• Resolve performance, memory, and scalability issues through debugging and technical troubleshooting.
• Maintain legacy Delphi 7 code and support migration efforts to Delphi XE8 (64-bit).
• Collaborate with functional analysts, QA, and other developers to translate requirements into software.
• Participate in agile practices, including daily standups, sprint planning, and build planning using Jira.
• Create technical documentation, version control details, and development standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Delphi development and application maintenance.
• Expertise in migrating code from Delphi 7 to Delphi XE8.
• Proficiency with SQL and RDBMS.
• Strong performance troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Experience supporting complex multi-tier applications.
• Ability to work within agile development lifecycles.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
