Description

You will manage material movement and production scheduling to ensure inventory levels meet demand requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Determine material requirements using MRP, BRP meetings, and customer orders to confirm production schedules.
• Execute established production schedules and monitor material flow to meet manufacturing requirements.
• Recommend internal make kanban levels and manage engineering changes.
• Research and implement solutions for improved inventory management and cost reduction.
• Measure schedule attainment, identify root causes of issues, and drive corrective actions.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in production planning or materials management within a manufacturing operation.
• Solid grasp of production planning principles, including MRP and Capacity Planning.
• Experience with ERPII systems and Manufacturing Operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional team participation.
• Ability to manage New Product Introductions (NPI) and product team tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• APICS certification.
