Description

You will build and maintain the automation tools and processes required to move software seamlessly through the software delivery cycle.

Responsibilities

• Create deployment automation tools to transition software between testing and production environments.
• Build and manage processes that facilitate frequent feature releases without manual intervention.
• Maintain deployment automation tools to support the software development life cycle.
• Document clear and comprehensive deployment procedures and guidelines.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in deployment automation or DevOps roles.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Shell, PowerShell, and Python.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.
• Practical knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
• Expertise in version control using Git and GitHub.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Experience with VMware and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Nagios, or the ELK stack.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and .NET/Java development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of DevOps best practices and agile methodologies.
