job responsibilities include:

Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize network monitoring and management platforms to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.

Support and administer network tools including SolarWinds, Splunk, Nagios, LiveNX, and other enterprise monitoring solutions.

Develop and maintain automation solutions for network provisioning, configuration management, telemetry collection, and operational workflows using Python, Ansible, REST APIs, or similar technologies.

Build and manage integrations, APIs, dashboards, and data pipelines between network tools and enterprise IT systems.

Collaborate with network engineering, operations, and security teams to establish monitoring standards, alerting capabilities, and platform enhancements.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in network tools deployment, administration, and migration projects.

4+ years of hands-on experience with automation, scripting, and platform integrations.

Strong understanding of networking technologies including TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.

Experience with monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, NetBrain, Cisco DNA Center, ThousandEyes, or similar platforms.

Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Experience with Linux administration, API-based integrations, and cloud monitoring across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Project Management and cross-functional technical initiatives.

Strong Stakeholder Management and communication skills.

Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, or similar automation and CI/CD tools.

Monitoring and automation certifications such as SolarWinds Certified Professional or Ansible Certified Engineer.

Networking certifications including CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
