Description

You own the design, deployment, and optimization of platforms and tools for monitoring, managing, and automating enterprise network infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network monitoring and management tool platforms.
• Administer tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, Nagios, and LiveNX.
• Develop custom integrations, dashboards, and APIs between network tools and IT systems.
• Build automation workflows for network provisioning, configuration management, and data collection using Python or REST APIs.
• Manage data ingestion pipelines for logs, SNMP traps, syslogs, and streaming telemetry.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in network tools deployment and management.
• Hands-on experience with at least two network monitoring/management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, NetBrain, Splunk, Cisco DNA Center).
• Strong understanding of network protocols: TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and data processing.
• Experience with Linux system administration and API-based integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid network monitoring in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Skills

• Monitoring/automation certifications (SolarWinds Certified Professional, Ansible Certified Engineer).
• Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent).
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Jenkins for network automation and CI/CD pipelines.
