Description

Lead a team of 75-90 certified coders in a US healthcare environment, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, selection, orientation, and training of staff to maintain a secure and legal work environment.
• Manage performance through timelines, quality, and productivity metrics, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
• Enforce quality and customer service standards by analyzing trends and recommending system improvements.
• Develop and coordinate systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
• Monitor job results and develop budgets to ensure operational alignment.

Required Skills

• 9-10 years of experience in Medical coding or US Healthcare business.
• 3-4 years of experience in a people management role.
• Proven experience managing a team span of at least 30+ people.
• Expertise in Performance Management, Project Management, and Quality Management.
• Strong ability to develop standards, foster teamwork, and provide feedback under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Analytical skills and ability to handle coding workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Graduate of Life Sciences.
• Certified Professional Coder or Certified Coding Specialist with 2 years of coding experience.
