Description

You will own the development, documentation, and validation of complex electronic and electrical system requirements and designs.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into detailed system, hardware, software, and interface specifications.
• Design complex electronic and electrical subsystems focusing on reliability, maintainability, producibility, and risk management.
• Execute test plans, conduct validation testing, and perform traceability analysis to ensure design compliance.
• Manage supplier technical teams, oversee procurement specifications, and monitor integration performance.
• Troubleshoot intermittent or chronic system problems and provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in electronic or electrical system design and analysis.
• Bachelor Degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Direct experience with Flight Management Systems (FMS), GNC, or autopilot systems.
• Technical proficiency with radar, cockpit systems, or wire/cable/harness design.
• Experience using LabVIEW for testing or data acquisition.
• Ability to perform product modeling and system-level verification.
• Experience managing supplier technical development and qualification testing.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to lead small requirements development teams and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
