Good to Have Skills: Knowledge of orthographic, isometric and axonometric projections, experience with design objects manipulation and drawing layers management, matrix computations for object transformation in coordinate space, top-down and bottom-up design methodologies, three-dimensional modeling with basic materials, automated design tools proficiency, prototype building and testing capabilities, supplier development and performance management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Research new materials and competitive products while organizing and executing prototype building, testing, and analysis activities.
• Assist supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance management initiatives.
• Develop and document functional requirements and translate them into detailed design documents for product components.
• Participate in buy-build analysis for product components and support proposal preparation with cost estimates.
• Oversee the efforts of drafting and testing specialists to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Provide effective technical solutions to routine functional challenges via sound technical competence and problem-solving skills.
• Present complex products and systems graphically using specialized computer-aided design and engineering tools.
• Monitor processes and procedures of complex product design to ensure functional requirements are met effectively.

Experience Required: 5 to 8 years of experience in engineering design and product development.

Education: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science from an accredited institution
