Description

Develop market-ready designs for fiber optic hardware, including connectors, adaptors, testing devices, and wireless terminals.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization and iterative development of fiber optic hardware solutions.
• Create 3D models and prototypes to demonstrate functionality and appearance.
• Prepare detailed design documentation, presentation materials, and packaging graphics.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and product managers to align design intent with project objectives.
• Execute designs within an established visual brand language across a broad product portfolio.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in product development.
• Expert proficiency in CREO for CAD modeling.
• Expert proficiency in KeyShot for rendering.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Strong digital sketching and visual communication skills.
• Solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with DFM/A (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly).
• Advanced understanding of human factors and ergonomics.
• Experience with UX/UI principles.

Preferred Skills

• Additional experience or training in UX.
